USU Catering Petroglyph Cake

I made this cake for USU Catering. It was for a professor who liked to photograph petroglyphs. He retired and this was for his retirement party. Kind of a weird request, but it turned out ok!

USU Catering Wedding Cake

I did this cake for USU catering. The wedding is today. I can't believe people would get married so close to Christmas! It is crazy. I have been slacking in the cake department lately. Things have been crazy busy, but after I get my new kitchen in I will be good to go!! My dad is definitely spoiling me this Christmas with new cabinets handmade by him! He is amazing, I will post pictures of it as soon as it is done! :) YAHOO!

Finally an Update!!

Here are a few of the cakes I have made over the past few months. Things have been crazy around our house and I have had to turn a lot of them down.

I made this cake for one of my friends from high school! I think they really enjoyed the cake and their reception was gorgeous! Congrats Jake!

My nephew Keegan wanted an Army cake this year! So Bugz and I went on a hunt for army men, but Bugz said it had to be the army men that come with the tank! So just to let anyone know who is looking Kmart is the only place in Logan that carries the army men tank combo! It turned out great and he loved it of course!

Finally my biggest news!! (no I am not pregnant) I got a job at USU decorating cakes for them! I am so excited and couldn't be more thrilled about this opportunity. So this was one of the cakes I made for the bridal fair in September. I love this cake! It is so fun and just reminds me of the 70's!

YW Princess Cake

I think everyone who has gone to YW Camp has gone to one with a princess theme! What better way to finish off an amazing YW Camp than with a princess cake? I hope the girls loved it. This cake was vanilla with cookie dough filling.

50th Birthday!

This cake was so much fun to make! The invitations said Trena's 50 Let's show her some support! So I made the cake to go along with the invitations. I love the colors the girl chose and how fun it was to make!

Topsy Turvy!

I was finally able to make a topsy turvy cake! It was so much fun and not even as hard as I imagined. I think it turned out pretty good for my first! I am so glad I finally got a bride that asked for one. I had to take it to Layton and that is too long of a ride for me and a cake that already looks like it is going to tip over!!! It turned out good though and she loved it. It was white chocolate raspberry cake with lemon cream cheese frosting. SO DELICIOUS!
